Dell releases Venue Pro with Windows Phone 7

Dell recently announced its release of Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 device.

It has a vertical full QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.1″ touch screen, 5MP camera with flash, built-in MS software like Office, Xbox LIVE etc.

Dell Venue Pro is 2.5 x 4.8 x 0.6 inches in size, and weights in at 6.8 ounces. Pricing is $449.99(8GB) and $499.99 (16GB) without contract. In USA, T Mobile offers a subsidized 2-year contract with the phone priced at $99 and $149 respectively.

Dell Venue Pro is among the earliest devices with Windows Phone 7 loaded. Expect more such phones to flood the market as Microsoft continues to push its new mobile OS. If you are on the look out for a WP7 phone, I suggest waiting for a few more phones to be announced before taking a decision.
