Eight Google Promising products
As everyone knows that Google invests 95% of its capital into the development of world leading search engine technology. Google wants to expand area of profit, as well as ahead of Bing, Yahoo and other search engines. Now, Google involves in Web service field that combines teamwork, real time communication and mobile applications step by step. Website EWEEK recently gave us an introduction of several products Google has released and is going to release in the field mentioned above. Let's see what is going on!
Google Apps

Google Apps is a website of Google Applications, mainly including Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Google Page Creator, and webmaster concerned enterprise.
Since release in 2006, Google expects a lot from Google Apps all the time. Google says numbers of its users have reached several millions, among which there are large-scale commercial organizations such as Serena Software and Capgemini.
However, Google Apps is not strong enough to take the positions of Office and Exchange, especially in the field of large-scale commercial organizations. Development team of Google Apps may say: "Rome wasn't built in a day." Google becomes increasingly popular with enterprise users.
Android System

Android system will undoubtedly become the technological core of Google, even though it is open source. Google opens another window for mobile Web business market. Therefore, users can obtain more Web services, for example, search and Google Apps.
There is no doubt that Google will focus on developing mobile business. What is more important is Google will take Android as system platform of electronic products like set-top box, and even washing machine.

The launch of Chrome brings much pleasure for Google fans. Chrome takes 1.8% of the total amount of browsers usage market according to the market share investigation and statistic report of Netapplications. Google remains in fourth place, taking the dust of Software IE and Apple Safari.
Google Books

Google Books causes tremendous controversy in 2009. However, Google decided to scan more books continuously, and pays individuals and public library certain charges for this project. U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the potential monopoly this service of Google. Nevertheless, Google actually turns into publisher of network books quietly, and can make great fortunes from books search service.
Google Health

Similar with Google Books, there is much debate about Google Health. Privacy protection advocators are afraid that this service may disclose the private information of one's individual medical case. However, Google says that Google Health will provide users with service of keeping individuals' medical case free of charge. What we don't know now is how Google makes profit from the free service.
Google App Engine

In Apr. 2008, Google released Google App Engine Platform, which allowed Web developers to create programs and uploading applications.
Developers can use free domain name in appspot.com to provide service for applications, and also can use Google Apps to serve applications from their own domain. Moreover, developers can share applications with people all around the world, and also make it accessible for membership.
Google Voice

In Jul. 2007, Google took over GrandCentral, whose service of "One Number Service" is embryonic form of Google Voice.
Through a designated number, Google Voice allows users to store speech and text information of several telephone numbers in the same place and access remotely. Furthermore, the service is equipped with internet telephone function.
Currently, beta version of Google Voice is presented to users of Grand Central.
Google Wave

Google Wave is a tool of real time cooperation, like a combination of email, IM, wiki, live chat, social network and project management. Meanwhile, Google Wave contains Twitter function.
